Louise reached out to me via LinkedIn and offered help at a moment when I felt lost, sad, stressed, and exhausted. My position at a large multidisciplinary firm just wasn’t making me happy. "Louise has helped me profoundly over the last few years in both my professional and personal lives.

Years ago, I was introverted and shy. I used to have anxiety attacks often and found it difficult to trust people. Louise introduced me to netball and gave me a purpose within a team; she helped me slowly build my confidence and was patient with me during my anxiety attacks, providing useful support and coping mechanisms.

Because of her kindness and respect, I was able to build my confidence to apply for a job I had always wanted. I eventually injured myself and had to leave the job, this lead to me becoming withdrawn and depressed. Louise helped me find something else I could be passionate about, and after seeing and experiencing her help me and others struggle in other aspects of their lives, I try to be the same kind of role model as she is.

I now work in childcare, and I am very happy in my personal life. Louise still often helps me and gives great advice when I need it."

"In the time that my daughter has worked with Louise, she has thrived under her help and support.

She first met at Calderdale College. She grew in confidence both within her netball and in her Level 3 course by having a helpful and friendly member of staff to guide and support her. With the support of Louise, she began looking at University courses in Sport.

Louise helped set up a meeting for our daughter and I to attend a tour of the University of her preferred choice and speak to the netball coach from the University. This inspired her to apply via UCAS and is now a successful Year 1 student at University. She also plays for the University’s first team for netball, which involves her travelling across England to play other Universities.

Louise helped her, to add to our support, outside of the family and inspired her to give her the belief to reach for her dreams."
